Juniper

Juniper is a short narrative game based on the old Brothers Grimm tale "The Juniper Tree". You explore a quiet winter house and its garden, look closely at small things, and the world slowly turns strange and uneasy. It's a dark fairy tale, not a jumpscare horror.

This is an early prototype, around six or seven minutes long, the first act of a bigger idea. I made it alone for my diploma. I can't draw and had no art team, so the visuals here are AI generated placeholders. The game needs a full rework of its style and visuals, and that is exactly why I'm publishing it.

I'm looking for a team. First of all I need 2D artists and 2D animators to rebuild the look and the animation of the game from the ground up. Controls: keyboard or gamepad. Move left and right, press E to interact, Space to skip text. The game has dark, heavy themes and is meant for players 16 and older.

 

Juniper это короткая нарративная игра по мотивам старой сказки братьев Гримм «Можжевельник». Ты исследуешь тихий зимний дом и сад, рассматриваешь мелкие детали, и мир постепенно становится странным и тревожным. Это тёмная сказка, а не хоррор со скримерами.

Это ранний прототип, минут на шесть или семь, первый акт большой задумки. Я делал его один для диплома. Рисовать я не умею, художников у меня не было, поэтому весь визуал здесь это сгенерированные ИИ заглушки. Игра нуждается в полной переработке стиля и визуала, и именно поэтому я её выкладываю.

Ищу команду. В первую очередь нужны 2D-художники и 2D-аниматоры, чтобы пересобрать визуал и анимацию игры с нуля. Также буду рад сценаристу, саунд-дизайнеру и ещё одному программисту. Управление: клавиатура или геймпад. Движение влево и вправо, E чтобы взаимодействовать, пробел чтобы пропустить текст. В игре тёмные, тяжёлые темы, она для 16+.
